When you find yourself in the middle of the winter doldrums, sometimes it’s fun to sit down with your favorite beverage, grab a notebook and pen, and create your ultimate wish list. This is the time to give the “dreamer” in you free reign. Don’t hold back. Don’t judge your wishes. Don’t limit yourself by what you believe is possible. Remember a time when you were little, and you felt the world was your oyster. Life seemed filled with endless possibilities, and nothing seemed impossible. Your dreams were enormous, and your belief in your ability to achieve them was rock solid. Bring this dreamer along with you as you create your list, and have fun! Some suggestions to get your imagination working might include: *buying your dream car *backpacking across Europe *spending a week volunteering at “Give Kids the World” *designing a new home *going for a spa retreat *having a romantic dinner for two *receiving a love letter *getting a book published *gaining weight *losing weight *owning a vacation home *having your children succeed in school *finding a new talent *developing an old talent *participating in a new hobby *changing careers *feeling appreciated *celebrating an occasion *eating chocolate *learning a foreign language *playing an instrument *hiring a maid service *becoming famous *starting your own business *making your fortune *sleeping on high thread count sheets *taking cooking classes *being pampered for a week *winning an award *inventing something useful *enjoying free time *lounging by the pool *learning to scuba dive *buying a designer purse *enjoying a home that is a peaceful haven from the outside world *participating in a spiritual practice *hiring a life coach *giving a motivating speech *making passive income *taking time out to play *drinking hot chocolate by the fire *having a fondue party *going to see your favorite movie *throwing an elegant party *drinking water out of fine crystal The possibilities are endless. They are only limited by your own imagination. When you sit down to create your list, let your mind wander. Enjoy basking in the wishes that make you feel like a child again. When you let your imagination soar, you begin to see inside your heart. What things from your wish list can you bring into your present life? Which ones can you make happen in the future? How can you design your life in order to make them happen? Who can you find to mentor you and keep you on track?
