Even a toolbar has to be downloaded. And there areall sorts of advertisements inviting to download “for free”–detailing and talking in such a sincere and well wishing manner that one gets trapped. Does this practice often result in inviting any number of fatal viruses to a PC? What kind of downloads or websites must be avoided? and why?
Comment on the belief that adult sites and picture downloads are the home and breeding grounds of viruses which are intentional (programmed), notorious and certainly fatal.

I agree. The worst possible sites for viruses and Trojans and malware are porn sites. Avoid them at all costs. Other sites are not so bad as long as u have a good spyware program and a good antivirus and u update and check ur puter regularly u cant really go wrong. Yes, some unwanted stuff does get onto ur puter from time to time and this is almost unavoidable. If u have a good firewall too this will help. I regularly download from a free mp3 site and I have no trouble al all, but some sites just deluge u with spyware and crap.
it is not recommended to download files, toolbars elsewhere. just download on trusted sites like downloads.com
most of thee free downloads have trojans and viruses that will usually get information you send to the internet, hijack your browser and so on…

If you have the proper protection, it is really not very risky or dangerous.
By that I mean, install AdAware, SpyBot, and have a good Antivirus Program running, scanning everything all the time, like AVG from http://www.grisoft.com
SpyWare Blaster is another good free program to use.

All of the above programs run better and much faster when run in SafeMode.
To get into SafeMode:
Re-boot the computer, and immediately after starting up, Press and hold down, F8, at top of keypad.
When the options show on the screen, use the up and down arrow keys on the keyboard to select
“Safe Mode”.
Press Enter
It’s best to run the AdAware scan first; 3 times; then re-boot.
Then, run the AdAware scan again 3 times. Then, run SpyBot, and then CWShredder.
Re- Boot.
Reason for running so many times:
Some of these trojans’ files can be deleted the first time; leaving some others; but on re-boot, they re-write the files that were deleted.
Running multiple times deletes most of it the first
time.
If you wish to have a great program, after you clean out Spyware/Advertising Ware, it’s called SpyWare Blaster.

All unwanted files from downloading come from those making money, with Spyware URL’s placed on the computer.
Viruses come from those who simply want to destroy things; like computers. All the above will stop it, before it gets into the computer.

Adult sites want to make money…you don’t make money from attacking your customers.
Some sites with (stolen) adult content will have malware.
Anyways, use firefox and Linux.
Truly I am running a small internet bizy in town real the the thing wit adult site has become an obsession to and i real dont know wat to do the thing is my customers always like to download adults contents though i have tried to save some for them in my computers they happen not to be satisfied wit wat i got 4 them now every time my computers crash the adult content they are real breeding place 4 virus
